Rendering Settings

Settings related to rendering can be found here. Use the tabs to switch between different groups of settings.

Open the rendering settings by clicking the Show/Hide button in the top left corner of the Image Window.

Rendering Style
Select a rendering style from this menu. Customized rendering settings can also be saved as a new preset. "Default Settings" is selected by default.
Add
Saves the current rendering settings as a new rendering style preset. After saving a new preset it is available from the Rendering Style pop-up menu.
Rename
Opens a Name dialog, allowing you to rename the rendering style preset.
Remove
Deletes the selected rendering style.
Default
Resets the rendering style to the default.
Method
Specifies the rendering method used. The available rendering methods differ according to the Shade3D grade. Ray Tracing (Draft), Ray Tracing, Path Tracing, and Wireframe methods are common to all grades.
Load...
Rendering settings can be loaded from a file.
When loading the settings from a file, select whether to overwrite the current rendering settings or save the current settings as a new rendering style.
Save...
Saves the current rendering settings to a file.
Select either the *.shdrst or *.xmlshdrst format.
Set
This button becomes available when Wireframe or a render plugin is selected from the Method pop-up menu. Click this button to open a settings dialog box for that render method.
