View Menu

From this menu you can open any of Shade3D's various windows.This includes the Image Window and the control windows, where most of Shade3D's functions can be accessed.
For details about each of the windows, refer to the appropriate section of this documentation.

Image Window
Opens the Image Window.The Image Window displays the rendering results, or the progress of an image being rendered.You can also specify the rendering settings and start rendering here.
Radiosity
Opens the Radiosity Window.The radiosity calculation results are displayed in the Radiosity Window.Here you can also specify the radiosity settings and start or stop the radiosity calculation.
Control Bar
Shows or hides the Control Bar.The Control Bar is displayed at the top of the Figure Window, and is used to facilitate access to frequently used functions related to the Figure Window display.
Workspace Selector
Shows or hides the Workspace Selector.The Workspace Selector is used to switch between workspace presets designed for different types of work in Shade3D.
Status Bar
Shows or hides the Status Bar.
Toolbox
Opens the Toolbox.The Toolbox contains tools for creating and editing shapes.
Tool Parameters
Shows or hides the Tool Parameters Window.The Tool Parameters Window is used to set parameters of the tool selected in the Toolbox, convert the selected shape in some way, store information about line objects and control points, and more.
Aggregate
Opens the Aggregate Window, which integrates the following frequently-used control windows into one window, separated by tabs: Camera, Distant Light, Background, Surface, and Object Info.Click the appropriate button (tab) to display that window's options. Control windows can also be detached from the Aggregate Window.
Camera
Opens the Camera Window.The Camera window is used to specify various settings for cameras, including changing the field of view in the Perspective View.
Distant Light
Opens the Distant Light Window.The Distant Light window is used to specify various settings for distant lights, including position, intensity, and color.
Background
Opens the Background Window.The Background window is used to specify various settings of the background.
Surface
Opens the Surface Window.The Surface Window is used to specify settings such as the color and texture of objects, and mapping.
Object Info
Opens the Object Info Window.The Object Info Window is used to display and change object information and attributes.The information displayed varies according to the selected object or part.
Skin
Opens the Skin Window.The Skin window is used to apply joint movements to control points of objects.
Motion
Opens the Motion Window.The Motion Window is used to animate joints.
Browser
Opens the Browser.The Browser is used to select objects, display the hierarchical structure of the scene, and change object attributes.
ShadeExplorer
Opens ShadeExplorer.ShadeExplorer is a file browsing program included in Shade3D.It creates a catalog out of Shade3D object data, surface attribute setting files, and image files, to help you manage them.
3D Printing Assistant
Opens the 3D Printing Assistant. The 3D Printing Assistant is designed to help check for and correct errors in a scene or external file before 3D printing.

Template Settings
Opens the Template Settings Window.The Template Settings Window is used to specify the settings for templates.
Ruler
Displays the Ruler.Distances in the horizontal and vertical directions can be measured on the three planes in the Figure Window using the ruler.
Alignment
Opens the Alignment Window.The Alignment Window is used to position and align multiple selected objects.
Color
Opens the Color Window.The Color window is used to select colors, and the selected colors can be used for various settings.The Color List Window from previous versions of Shade3D has been integrated into the Color Window. The specified colors can be temporarily memorized and they can be saved as a list.
Correction
Opens the Correction Window.The Correction Window is used to adjust the intensity, contrast, color balance, and saturation of images to be rendered.The Correction Window settings are used the next time an image is rendered.
PoserFusion
Opens the PoserFusion Window.Here you can specify settings for integrating Shade3D and Poser.
SmartKinematics
Available in Shade3D Professional and Standard.
Opens the SmartKinematics Window, where you can specify SmartKinematics settings. SmartKinematics can assist in posing or animating complicated movements in which multi-articular joints are interconnected.
RoomPlanner
Available in Professional.
Opens the RoomPlanner plugin, which can assist in creating a 3D view of a house or the like.

Shortcut
Opens the Shortcut Window.The Shortcut Window is used to assign Shade3D functions to keys on the keyboard.Here you can also save or load configured shortcuts.
Command Palette
Opens the Command Palette.The Command Palette is used to assign Shade3D operations to buttons, allowing you to execute a command with one click.

Script
Opens the Script Window.The Script Window is used to write and record scripts.It allows you to customize Shade3D functions and to add new functions.
Message
Opens the Message Window.The Message Window is used to display various types of information.It is mainly used to display the status of a process when using plugins.
Hide/Show
Hides all control windows currently displayed.When the control windows are hidden, this menu item changes to Show.Selecting Show will display all hidden control windows.
