3D Printing Assistant

Objects exported for 3D printing must be able to be physically built in 3D. The following are some of the conditions for this:

• There are no holes. (The entire shape has thickness.)
• All the surface normals face outwards. (There are no inconsistent normals.)
• The entire object is a single polygon mesh. (There is not multiple objects or any discontinuous faces.)
(This condition does not apply when exporting multiple models for 3D printing.)

The 3D Printing Assistant checks for errors and corrects them in order to meet these conditions for an object that can be built in 3D space.
