Mirror

Use the Mirror tool to create a mirrored copy of the selected object(s).

Usage

  1. Select the object(s) to mirror.
  2. In CAD Mode, select Mirror from the Toolbox's CAD creation tools.
  3. A mirrored copy of the selected object(s) is created.

Tool Parameters

Mirror
When selected, the object is mirrored, and the mirrored copy is shown.
When unselected, the object is not mirrored.
Axis
Select the X, Y, or Z axis for the direction to mirror the object.
Offset
The offset distance along the selected axis used to mirror the object.
Local Coordinates
When selected, uses local coordinates to mirror the object.
When unselected, global coordinates are used.
Use Cursor Position
Uses the 3D cursor position as the mirror reference point.
Use Bounding Box Min
Uses the minimum coordinate value of the object's bounding box along the selected axis as the mirror reference point.
Use Bounding Box Max
Uses the maximum coordinate value of the object's bounding box along the selected axis as the mirror reference point.
Substantiate
Substantiates the mirrored copy so it is part of the original object.
Close
Closes the Tool Parameters.
