Separate Selected Edges

Separates edges in the selected polygon mesh.

Can be used in any of the mesh selection modes.

Usage

To separate edges, first select them.

• From the main menu, select Tools > Modify Mesh > Separate/Copy > Separate Selected Edges.
• From the Toolbox, select Modify > Mesh > Separate/Copy > Separate Selected Edges.
• The edges of the selected polygon mesh are separated.

If faces or edges that form faces are selected before applying Separate Selected Edges, the faces are disconnected, resulting in isolated faces.
