What is Shapeasy?

Shapeasy is a new kind of 3D creative app that makes it extremely easy to create 3D models by combining simple shapes.

Objects created in Shapeasy can be sent to a 3D printer using the standard STL file format.


Starting a New Scene

  1. Open the Scene List from the starting screen.
  2. Tap the "plus" icon in the top right corner to start a new scene.

Creating Shapes

  1. Tap the New Shape icon in the bottom left corner and choose a shape.
  2. Drag to the center area to add it to your scene.

Changing the Thickness of a Shape

  1. Select a shape.
  2. Tap the Thickness icon (second from the left) to change the shape's thickness.

Shapes with greater thickness are shown in a darker orange, and vice versa.
If you set a shape's thickness to 0 it will be cut out from other, overlapping shapes.

Changing Shape Layering

  1. Select a shape.
  2. Tap the Layers icon (third from the left) to move the shape forward or backward in the layers.
