If you click the Stop button to terminate the Radiosity calculation, the Radiosity calculation result is retained until the calculation terminates. If you click the Resume button, the current calculation resumes from where it was stopped. If you click the Start button, the calculation result obtained until the calculation stops is cleared and then the Radiosity calculation starts from the beginning. When you click the Stop button, there may be a delay until the next operation becomes ready, because this action requires some preparation in order to be able to resume. - Abort
- Click this button to completely terminate the Radiosity calculation. Once the calculation has terminated, the Stop and Abort buttons are disabled and the Start button is enabled. If you have terminated the Radiosity calculation by clicking the Abort button, the calculation cannot resume.

- Update
- This button is available in Radiosity Pro, provided in Shade3D Professional. Clicking this button enables you to see the results of changes to the radiated energy and the distribution characteristic for a light, after performing a radiosity calculation. This allows you to adjust light intensity and color balance, and see the results quickly, without having to calculate all the data over again.
- Clear
- Click this button to clear the Radiosity calculation result. Clicking this button stops the ongoing Radiosity calculation and at the same time releases memory allocated for the calculation. Memory needs to be released if a low memory condition is encountered during a Radiosity calculation.
- Convergence
- The progress of the Radiosity calculation is shown as a percentage value of solved rendering.
- Auto Exposure Checkbox
- When this checkbox is on, auto exposure correction is performed for the Radiosity calculation result. This checkbox is on by default.
- Exposure Adjustment
- This arbitrarily adjusts the exposure of the radiosity calculation result.
- Exposure Adjustment[ - ] and [ + ] Buttons
