The Regular Polyhedron

The Regular Polyhedron plug-in generates the five types of Regular Polyhedrons (Tetrahedron, Hexahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron and Icosahedron), either as an aggregation of closed lines or as a polygon mesh.

You can choose either of two methods of creation: entering such numerical values as size and position, or dragging. The best method depends on the purpose.
