Using Cut Curves

1. Select a Line to cut.
   
   

   NoteThis function does not work for cutting Parts.

2. From the Toolbox Modify Tab, select Surface, select Plugins > Cut Curves.
   
3. In the Viewport, drag across the top of the selected Line.
   
4. The selected Line is cut at the point where the line drawn overlaps it. The original Line still remains intact.
   
   

After the Cut Curves process, items are added to Browser:

delete it

The line created by the drag action across the Line.

Part created to contain new Line objects

New Line objects created for each section of the original Line divided by the Cut Curves
