Motion Effects Reference
The Motion Effects Tool Parameters are described below. All Motion Effects settings are specified in the Tool Parameters.
- Delete Attributes
- Deletes previously-applied Motion Effects attributes from the selected ball joint.
- Enable
- Enables Motion Effects as the root for the selected ball joint.
- Gravity
- Specifies the distance (translation) the object is pulled downwards in each frame.
- Limit Angle
- Specifies the maximum angle that each ball joint can move, as described by a conical shape, measured from its initial position. Specifying 0.0 renders the joint immobile, and 180.0 allows complete freedom of movement.
- Elasticity Settings
- Settings which describe how strongly ball joints with Motion Effects applied will tend to return to their original positions.
- Enable
- Enables Elasticity effects.
- Strength
- Specifies the degree to which the object will tend to return to its original position. Specifying 1.0 renders the joint immobile.
- Wind Settings
- Applies a random wavering effect of the amount (Translation) specified.
- Enable
- Enables Wind effects.
- Translation
- Specifies the maximum translation for each direction in XYZ world coordinates.
- Frame Count
- Specifies the number of frames over which the movement (specified by the Translation values) is applied. A larger Frame Count results in a slower wavering effect.
