IK Reference
The IK Tool Parameters are described below.
- Delete Attributes Button
- Deletes IK attributes from the selected ball joint and all child parts.
In the case of automatically-generated IK-Goal ball joints, those without child elements are also deleted.
- Root Node Group
- IK-Root settings.
- Apply Button
- Applies IK-Root to the selected ball joint in the Browser.
- Enable
- Deselect this checkbox to temporarily disable IK settings.
- End Group
- IK-End settings.
- Apply Button
- Applies IK-End to the selected ball joint in the Browser.
If the IK-Root and IK-End are specified, an IK-Goal object is automatically generated.
The generated IK-Goal object is generated as a brother part to the IK-Root.
It is also possible to assign multiple IK-Goal nodes after multiple IK-Root nodes have been assigned.
- Goal Group
- IK-Goal settings.
- Apply Button
- Applies IK-Goal to the selected ball joint in the Browser.
Normally the IK-Goal node is assigned automatically, but this control allows you to switch the IK-Goal to a different ball joint afterwards.
- Limit Angle
- In the case of an IK structure composed of 3 or more ball joints, prevents movement opposite that of the angle created by the initially-specified ball joint. This takes effect when Limit Angle is selected.
If this checkbox is deselected, movement in the opposite direction is possible.
