Independent view for 2D drawing has been supported. Multiple 2D drawing views can be created, and shapes created in a Drawing View or placed in a Drawing View Part will be displayed in the Drawing View viewport only.
Interface View Mode in Figure Window (at the top left corner of each viewport) > Drawing View
Drawing View
- 1. Drawing View
- Independent view for 2D drawing. Multiple drawing views are supported.
- 2. Drawing View Part
- When you create a shape on a Drawing View, it is automatically created.
- Create from Tools > Part > Drawing View Part manually.
- Sequential numbering is automatically added when you create multiple drawing view parts.
- It can be only placed directly under the root part.
- The shapes placed within this part are displayed in the Drawing View viewport.
- If the Drawing View is displayed in a viewport, viewport position will be attached to the end of part name. (Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left and Lower Right)
- 3. 2D Shapes
- Shapes placed in the Drawing View Part will have a "2D" symbol over the icon to distinguish them from 3D shapes.
- As with the normal shape, it can be placed and moved freely in and out of the part.

- Click to open a toolbox that summarizes the main features use for 2D drawing.

- 5. View Mode
- Select Drawing View to switch between the views.
- 6. Drawing View Mode
- The Drawing View Parts in the scene are listed. Select the view part to be displayed.
- If there is no drawing view part, selection area will be "---" .
- 7. Display Mode
- Only those items that are available for the Drawing View are listed.
- 8. Object Info Window
- The shapes in the Drawing View Part are treated as 2D shapes, so only X and Y are active in position and size.
