Planes

Use the Plane tool to create a plane, defined by three points. The mouse pointer can be used, or numbers can be input directly in the Tool Parameters.

Usage

1. In CAD Mode, select Plane from the Toolbox's CAD creation tools.
   
2. Click in three places in the Figure Window.
   
3. In the Tool Parameters, click Apply.
   
4. A plane (rectangle) defined by three points is created.
   

Tool Parameters

Position 1

The XYZ coordinates of the first point.

Position 2

The XYZ coordinates of the second point.

Position 3

The XYZ coordinates of the third point.

Apply

Confirms the plane creation.
