Adding a Face to a Closed Curve

The Make Surface tool is used to add a face to a closed NURBS curve, creating a surface. It can also be used to add a face to close up the hole in an open surface, such as after converting a curved surface with open top and bottom to a NURBS object, or after deleting an extra face that resulted in a hole.

  1. Select one or more closed curves with no breaks.
  2. In CAD Mode, select Make Surface from the Toolbox's CAD editing tools.
