Sectors
Use the Sector tool to create a sector of a circle, consisting of an arc connected to a center point, by specifying the radius and the angle in degrees. The mouse pointer can be used, or numbers can be input directly in the Tool Parameters.

Usage
- In CAD Mode, select Sector from the Toolbox's CAD creation tools.
- Drag in the Figure Window to specify the radius of the sector. The starting point of the drag becomes the center point, and the distance dragged becomes the radius.
- Drag again to specify the angle of the arc. Alternatively, enter the angle in degrees in the Tool Parameters.
Tool Parameters
- Reference Plane
- The plane on which the disk is created.
- When using the mouse, the plane used for the initial drag becomes the reference plane.
- Center
- The XYZ coordinates of the center of the sector.
- End Point
- The XYZ coordinates of the first end point of the sector's arc.
- Angle
- The angle of the sector in degrees.
- Closed
- Joins the center with both end points, creating a closed sector. Deselect this option to create an arc instead.
- Apply
- Confirms the sector creation.
