Cylinders

Use the Cylinder tool to create a cylinder, composed of a radius and top and bottom faces, as a NURBS surface. The mouse pointer can be used, or numbers can be input directly in the Tool Parameters.

Usage

  1. In CAD Mode, select Cylinder from the Toolbox's CAD creation tools.
  2. Drag in the Figure Window to create the first face. The starting point of the drag becomes the center point, and the distance dragged becomes the radius.
  3. Drag in the same viewport to specify the height. (Or drag in a perpendicular view in the direction of the height.)
