Cylinders
Use the Cylinder tool to create a cylinder, composed of a radius and top and bottom faces, as a NURBS surface. The mouse pointer can be used, or numbers can be input directly in the Tool Parameters.

Usage
- In CAD Mode, select Cylinder from the Toolbox's CAD creation tools.
- Drag in the Figure Window to create the first face. The starting point of the drag becomes the center point, and the distance dragged becomes the radius.
- Drag in the same viewport to specify the height. (Or drag in a perpendicular view in the direction of the height.)
Tool Parameters
- Bottom Center
- The XYZ coordinates of the center of the bottom face.
- Top Center
- The XYZ coordinates of the center of the top face.
- Radius
- The radius of the cylinder.
- Orthogonal Circle
- This option orients both top and bottom faces of the cylinder so they are orthogonal to the cylinder's axis.
- Apply
- Confirms the cylinder creation.
