Arcs
Use the Arc tool to create an arc, composed of two end points and a radius, as a NURBS curve. The mouse pointer can be used, or numbers can be input directly in the Tool Parameters.

Usage
- In CAD Mode, select Arc from the Toolbox's CAD creation tools.
- Drag in the Figure Window to draw both end points.
- Drag again to specify the radius of the arc.
Tool Parameters
- Reference Plane
- Select the XZ, YZ, or XY plane to use as the reference plane for creating the arc.
- When using the mouse, the plane used for the initial drag becomes the reference plane.
- Position 1
- The coordinates of the first end point of the arc.
- Position 2
- The coordinates of the second end point of the arc.
- Radius
- The radius of the arc.
- Arc 1-4 Buttons
- Select from four types of arc. Depending how the center point is defined, the arc's orientation and shape may change.
- Closed Arc
- Joins the center with both end points, creating a closed arc.
- Apply
- Confirms the arc creation.
