OpenSubdiv Display Level

The level of subdivision used for objects subdivided using OpenSubdiv can be specified separately for rendering and display in the Figure Window. This Display Level can be set in the Object Info Window.

Usage

With the OpenSubdiv object selected, in the Subdivision Surface options of the Object Info Window, adjust the Display Level.

The level of subdivision shown in the Figure Window changes for the selected OpenSubdiv object(s).

Display Level 1 (Coarse)

Display Level 2 (Regular)

Display Level 3 (Fine)

Display Level 4 (Very Fine)

Display Level 7 (Maximum)

Display Level
The level of subdivision displayed in the Figure Window can be set between 0 and 7.
+ and - Buttons
The plus and minus buttons can be used to adjust the subdivision level between 0 and 4.

Subdivision levels greater than 4 must be entered directly in the text box. Using the maximum subdivision level of 7 can reduce display performance.
