Select Manifold Geometry

Select Manifold Geometry selects all faces contiguous to the currently selected face that do not have non-manifold edges or inconsistent normals.

Usage

Selects the continuous mesh surface that includes the currently selected face, stopping at non-manifold edges or border edges.

• Select a face of the polygon mesh.
  (Show Non-Manifold Edges, Show Inconsistent Normals, and Double Side (Colored Back Faces) are selected.)
  
• Clicking Select Manifold Geometry will select the continuous surface that includes the currently selected face, stopping at non-manifold edges.
